Bovi Brings ‘Guilty as Charged’ Home as 2026 World Tour Ends in Benin, Lagos

Nigerian comedian, actor and writer Bovi Ugboma is set to bring his 2026 Guilty as Charged world tour to a close with two homecoming performances in Benin City and Lagos this October. The Nigerian leg will begin on October 1, 2026, in Benin City, before concluding with a grand finale on October 11 at the Convention Centre, Eko Hotel, Lagos. The shows follow a successful international run that began in the United Kingdom during the Easter period. Bovi performed at Indigo at The O2 in London, before taking the production to Canada, where he staged shows in six cities, including Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton. Organisers said all six Canadian performances sold out. 🇳🇬 Homecoming Leg The Benin City performance will open the Nigerian homecoming on October 1, while Lagos will host the final performance of the 2026 tour ten days later. According to the official Lagos event listing, the October 11 show is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre. The Lagos edition will also introduce a new format for Bovi's shows, with reserved seating throughout the venue. Ticket buyers can select their preferred seats when purchasing their tickets. Bovi has spent nearly two decades building a career across stand-up comedy, television and film. His performances are known for observational humour, storytelling and commentary on relationships, society, popular culture and everyday Nigerian experiences.
