Peller Says He Wants to Return to School to Connect With Dangote, Otedola and Elumelu

Popular Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed plans to return to school, saying he hopes further education will help position him to interact and collaborate with some of Nigeria’s most prominent business figures. Peller specifically mentioned billionaires Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola, as well as businessman Tony Elumelu, while explaining his motivation for pursuing further education. According to reports, Peller said he wants to earn from collaborations with wealthy and educated Nigerians and believes education could help him gain access to their professional circles. “Educated rich people love to work with educated people, so I want to go back to school now because I want to be in the same room with Dangote and Otedola.” The streamer also referenced the promotion surrounding Dangote Refinery’s initial public offering, saying influencers such as Enioluwa and Tobe were involved. Peller said the example strengthened his desire to pursue education while continuing his career as a streamer and content creator. “Dangote, Otedola, Tony Elumelu, please, I’m educated and I want to stream with you guys.” His latest comments come months after Peller announced that he had secured admission to study Law at a private university in Lagos. In January, he briefly indicated that he might abandon the programme because of the time spent in class and the impact on his ability to make money from streaming. It is not clear from the latest reports whether Peller has formally resumed or re-enrolled in a university programme.
