Naira Strengthens to ₦1,327.78/$ at Official Market as Dollar Trades at ₦1,389 on Parallel Market

The Nigerian naira strengthened against the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market, according to the latest figures available for Wednesday, September 23.
At the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), the naira closed at ₦1,327.78 per US dollar on Tuesday, September 22, compared with ₦1,329.80 on Monday. This represents a ₦2.02 appreciation.
In the parallel market, the dollar was reported at around ₦1,389, slightly lower than the ₦1,390 recorded the previous day.
