BREAKING: Blessing CEO Loses Second Son While in Custody, Appeals for Help to Leave Prison

September 26, 2026: Nigerian social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Facility in Lagos.

The development was made public on Friday evening by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed for public assistance on behalf of Blessing CEO.

According to reports, Agiye said Blessing CEO had authorised her to appeal to Nigerians for help with securing her release and dealing with the aftermath of her son's death.

A voice recording played during the appeal reportedly featured Blessing CEO confirming the death.

“My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan.”

She reportedly expressed a desire to leave custody so that she could attend to her son's remains and pay her respects.

Why is Blessing CEO still in custody?

Blessing CEO has been involved in ongoing legal proceedings relating to alleged fraud/property-related offences.

Premium Times reported in June that she was remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre following an EFCC case involving allegations connected to a ₦13 million cancer-fundraising campaign. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

More recent reports say she was granted bail in another case but had not been able to satisfy the conditions required for her release. Reports put the bail requirement at ₦20 million, with additional financial claims reportedly being sought by complainants.

Amira Agiye has appealed for financial assistance, saying that money is needed to help Blessing CEO meet her bail conditions and address outstanding financial obligations connected with the case.

Some reports put the combined amount being sought at approximately ₦56 million — ₦20 million for bail and ₦36 million relating to debts/claims.
