“She Left Her Husband Over Cheating, Now She Dates a Married Man” — Woman Recounts Friend’s ₦300,000 Hotel Encounter

A Nigerian woman has recounted an encounter involving a friend who, according to her account, left her husband after accusing him of infidelity, but later began dating a married man.

In a video shared on X on September 26, 2026, the woman said her friend told her that she left her husband because he allegedly brought other women into their home and showed disrespect toward her and their children. 

According to the narrator, the situation took an unexpected turn when a married male friend visited them at a hotel. She alleged that her friend subsequently went into the man's hotel room.

The narrator said her friend later told her that the married man gave her ₦300,000 and that the two were dating.

She questioned what she described as a contradiction: her friend had allegedly left her own marriage because of her husband's infidelity, yet was now involved with another married man.

The woman also said she wasn't judging her friend, noting that her friend left the marriage with her children and was taking responsibility for them.

The account has generated online discussion about infidelity, relationships with married partners and the circumstances surrounding separation from marriage. However, the allegations are based on the narrator's account, and the report does not quote the friend or the married man to give their side of the story.
