A fresh political controversy has emerged following comments attributed to Chizea, who questioned why former Rivers State Governor and current FCT Minister Nyesom Wike can publicly discuss the 2023 presidential election and his political influence without facing the same level of scrutiny directed at other politicians.

Wike has continued to defend the political influence he exercised in Rivers during the election period.

In a recent interview on TVC's Journalists' Hangout, Wike challenged supporters of Peter Obi who claimed that Obi actually won Rivers State to produce the official result sheets supporting their position.

“Let them produce that result sheet that says Obi won,” Wike said.

He also argued that election results should be assessed across the state's 23 local government areas, rather than based on results or observations from selected polling units in Port Harcourt.
