Nollywood actress Anita Joseph’s estranged husband, Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish, has made fresh allegations about their marriage, claiming he took loans and entered various financial agreements to maintain the lifestyle they projected while together.

MC Fish made the claims in a series of posts on his Instagram Story while responding to what he described as a public narrative that Anita financially supported him during their marriage. 

According to him, the financial reality of their relationship was different from what he believed had been presented publicly.

He alleged that he used his personal earnings and borrowed money to fund expenses associated with what he described as a “fake lifestyle.”

MC Fish also disputed claims surrounding trips they took during their marriage, saying he personally paid for some of the tickets and expenses and used his connections and acquaintances to facilitate certain experiences.

He further claimed that he made financial sacrifices because of the lifestyle expectations within the relationship.

“I took loans and entered all sorts of agreements to keep up a fake life,” he alleged. 

The entertainer also claimed that his family connections helped create some business opportunities for Anita, including an alleged connection involving a property company and an ambassadorial deal.

MC Fish said he initially did not intend to discuss private matters from the marriage publicly but decided to respond after what he described as repeated claims about who supported whom financially.

The latest allegations come more than a year after the couple's separation and have generated reactions across social media. 

MC Fish also made other serious personal allegations about their marriage, including claims concerning their late child. Those claims have not been independently established, and Anita Joseph had not publicly responded to the allegations in the reports reviewed.
