Apostle Arome’s Wife Breaks Silence Amid Online Storm Over Husband’s Sermon

Dinna Osayi, the wife of Apostle Arome Osayi, has shared a reflective message on social media as controversy continues over her husband’s recent sermon about Nigeria’s spiritual calling.

The sermon, delivered during the International Eagles Conference 2026, sparked a heated online debate after Arome argued that Nigeria has a distinctive spiritual assignment centred on revival and missionary activity. He contrasted that perceived calling with the technological and manufacturing achievements of countries such as China. 

The message subsequently drew criticism from social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) and commentator Solomon Buchi, who questioned whether the emphasis on prayer and revival should come at the expense of innovation, technology and practical efforts to improve Nigeria.
