Phyna Rejects DJ Dimple Nipple Boxing Challenge, Names Jarvis as Preferred Opponent

BBNaija star Phyna has rejected a proposed celebrity boxing match against professional boxer and DJ Dimple Nipple, saying she is not willing to risk her safety by facing an experienced fighter.

The reality TV star made the comment after comedian DeeOne suggested that DJ Dimple Nipple should be her next opponent following Phyna’s victory over actress Nkechi Blessing.

“Somebody said I should go and fight DJ Dimple. So you guys want her to send me to six feet?” Phyna said in a video circulating online.

DeeOne Suggests New Opponent

DeeOne reportedly made the suggestion after Phyna defeated Nkechi Blessing during the female edition of the “Chaos in the Ring” celebrity boxing event.

The bout took place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and Phyna later expressed interest in facing actress Etinosa Idemudia.

However, DeeOne questioned her choice of opponents, arguing that Phyna should consider fighting celebrities closer to her age rather than challenging older actresses.

The comedian mentioned personalities including Ilebaye and Tacha before naming DJ Dimple Nipple as a possible opponent.

Phyna Says No to DJ Dimple Nipple

Responding to the challenge, Phyna made it clear that she would not agree to fight DJ Dimple Nipple.

The reality star described the proposed contest as too risky because DJ Dimple Nipple has professional boxing experience.

“I’m not risking my life fighting a professional boxer like DJ Dimple,” Phyna said.

Although her “six feet” comment was made jokingly, it highlighted the difference between a celebrity exhibition bout and a match against someone with professional training and experience.

Phyna’s response suggests she is willing to continue in celebrity boxing but does not want to face opponents with a major competitive advantage.

Phyna Calls Out Jarvis

Rather than accepting DeeOne’s proposed matchup, Phyna named content creator Jarvis as the person she would prefer to fight next.

“Give me Jarvis; she’s the one I want to fight,” she said.

Her statement has now shifted attention to a possible Phyna-versus-Jarvis clash, although neither a date nor an official agreement has been announced.

Phyna had earlier been linked with a possible fight against Etinosa Idemudia, who reportedly accepted her challenge after the Nkechi Blessing bout.

Celebrity Boxing Gains Attention

Celebrity boxing has become an increasingly popular form of entertainment in Nigeria, bringing together reality TV stars, actors, musicians, comedians and social-media personalities in organised exhibition matches.

The events often grow from online exchanges, rivalries or public call-outs before turning into potential bouts.

For Phyna, the latest discussion has created several possible opponents. However, she has made her position clear on the DJ Dimple Nipple challenge.

While she is open to another celebrity contest, she does not appear interested in facing a professional boxer. For now, Jarvis remains the opponent she wants.
