Nigerian comedian and actor Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has recounted his frightening experience after being hit by a stray bullet, revealing how the incident left him fearing for his life and uncertain about his future in entertainment.
The skit maker disclosed that the shooting occurred on March 9, 2026, shortly after he and his team had completed a brand activation assignment and were leaving the area.
According to Shaggi, they encountered traffic when he suddenly heard a loud bang. He initially struggled to understand what had happened before touching his hip and discovering that he was bleeding.
The comedian said the realization that he had been shot left him terrified, as he began to contemplate the possibility of dying.

Recounting the incident in a video shared on his YouTube channel, the entertainer described the experience as one of the most frightening moments of his life.
He said he lost consciousness before reaching the hospital and could not remember how he was taken there.

The comedian revealed that he could now stand without crutches and walk, but still required the walking aids for additional support.
