FAYPAC Launches 300,000-Vote Mobilisation Drive for APC in FCT

The FCT Abuja Youth Participation Action Community (FAYPAC) has outlined how it intends to mobilize 300,000 votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ahead of the 2027 general elections as well as announcing the formation of a 23 member steering committee.
Youth Mobilization
Ambassador Ayuba Jacob Ngbako, convener of the FAYPAC said the organization was formed to create a more active participation in politics amongst youths aged between 18 and 45 years in the FCT. It will have a wide mobilization network of youths in all six area councils, 62 wards and more than 2500 polling units across the territory.
Each area council would have at least 17 members in their steering/executive committees and each polling unit would have three representatives.
Vote Target
The organization wants to mobilize at least 50,000 votes from each of the six area councils, making it 300,000 total votes in the whole FCT for the APC. This is what they want to mobilize.
The new steering committee has six area council representatives; AMAC, Bwari, Gwagwalada, Kuje, Kwali, Abaji. It has six representatives from each of the North-central, North-east, North-west, South-east, South-west and South-south geopolitical zones.
There are also 11 other positions; Women Leader, Youth Leader, Organizing Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Legal Advisor and representatives of the Elders.
Steering Committee
This steering committee will help create the structures required for FAYPAC to mobilize youths with a leadership team. The 23 member steering committee will be inaugurated this week at Ogun House, No.74 Central Business District, Abuja.
After the inauguration, FAYPAC will create their structures and begin their official launch at area council and ward level. The main goal is to create a sustainable grassroots network to mobilize youths, increase their involvement in politics and coordinate them across the FCT.
FAYPAC’s mobilization strategy will get to communities within all six area councils, with a focus on increasing visibility at ward and polling unit level.
